Additional coaches for Palakkad-Tiruchendur train to avoid crowding

The Palakkad Division of Southern Railways has announced that the train between Palakkad and Tiruchendur will have two additional coaches for the passengers to travel to avoid crowding.


Coimbatore: The Palakkad Division of Southern Railways has announced that the train between Palakkad and Tiruchendur will have two additional coaches for the passengers to travel to avoid crowding.

A press release issued by the Divisional Office, Southern Railway Palakkad stated, “An additional 2 coaches are being connected to the Tiruchendur-Palakkad train to avoid passenger overcrowding.”

“Accordingly, the train from Tiruchendur to Palakkad from 30th December and the train from Palakkad to Tiruchendur on 31st December will run with 12 coaches. Additional boxes will be second class general boxes.”
