Power shutdown in Kuruchi, Madukkarai and Kinathukadavu sub-station on October 20th



The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB), Coimbatore has announced for a total shutdown at Kuruchi, Madukkarai and Kinathukadavu substation on 20th October (Tomorrow) from 9 am to 2 pm.

The shutdown will be due to monthly maintenance works in the power transformer.

This powercut also affects areas falling under the Kuruchi & Madukkarai sub-station.

The officials from the TNEB are working on removing fauna that is coming in the way of the transformers and electricity lines in and around the Kinathukadavu region. In this regard the TNEB officials have requested the help from the public. Tomorrow during the scheduled shut-down TNEB will work in partnership with the members of the public on this.
