According to a letter of the Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, 28 officers in the post of Assistant Director of Rural Development in Tamil Nadu were transferred and appointed in various districts.

Santhanam, Personal Assistant (Election) to The District Collector of Coimbatore has been transferred to the post of Personal Assistant (Nutritious Meal) to the Collector of Krishnagiri District. Kovendan who was in the post of Personal Assistant (Election) to the Namakkal District Collector has been appointed to the post of Assistant Project Officer (House and Health) of Erode District Rural Development.
Srinivasan, Personal Assistant (Election) of the Nilgiris District Collector, has been transferred as Assistant Director, Regional Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Institute, Bhavanisagar, Erode District. Rani, who was in the post earlier, has been shifted to the post of Assistant Project Officer (Infrastructure) of Coimbatore District Rural Development. Devaraj, who was in that post, has been appointed as the Assistant Project Officer (Accounts and Administration) of Nilgiris District.
