District Collector announces special camp for UDID of differently-abled

Special camp for obtaining documents for Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID) for the differently-abled is scheduled for September 16 from 10 am to 1 pm, at all VAO offices in Coimbatore District.


Coimbatore: A special camp for the differently-abled is being organized on Thursday, September 16 at all the Village Administration Offices (VAOs) in Coimbatore district.

The Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran announced that those who have applied for the special identity card can obtain it by providing the required proof. A special camp for obtaining documents for Unique Identity Card (UDID) for the differently-abled is scheduled to be held on September 16 from 10 am to 1 pm, at all VAO offices in Coimbatore District.

The differently-abled residing in Coimbatore District who have applied for their UDID card and have not received it till date should have copies of all the pages of the ID card along with medical certificate, copy of Aadhar card, family card, copy of a recent bust photograph and their signature, number of their parents and guardians. These documents can be submitted to the office of the Executive Officer for the processing of their UDID card.
