Coimbatore: Four lakh vaccinations have been given so far in the health centers of Coimbatore Corporation, according to the health department officials.
Coimbatore: Four lakh vaccines have been administered at the Coimbatore Corporation Health Centers so far, according to health officials.
Vaccination has been going on in Coimbatore district since January 16. Initially, corona vaccination was carried out at four centers namely Government Hospital, Mettupalayam Government Hospital, Pollachi Government District General Hospital and Nallattipalayam Government Primary Health Center. Vaccination was then carried out through 32 urban primary health centers in the Corporation areas. Corona distribution had increased in parts of the corporation. Steps were taken to control this.
Coimbatore Corporation Health Department officials said, “Small changes have been made in the vaccination system in Coimbatore district. Vaccination is being carried out with emphasis on rural areas. Vaccination is provided to the public in the Corporation area through the Corporation Urban Primary Health Centers. Accordingly, four lakh people have been vaccinated so far through the Corporation Health Centers alone.â€
