Coimbatore Corporation to appoint 100 nurses on temporary basis to fight Covid-19

Coimbatore: According to an order issued by the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner, M Kumaravel Pandian, 100 nurses will be appointed on a temporary basis to aid the fight against Covid in Coimbatore district.


Coimbatore: According to an order issued by the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner, M Kumaravel Pandian, 100 nurses will be appointed on a temporary basis to aid the fight against Covid in Coimbatore district.

The Corporation Commissioner has specified that minimum requirements of the applicants for the nursing positions will have to at least be B.Sc Nursing/Diploma Nursing background. The job will be for a period of three months from June.

The appointed nurses will be paid Rs.12,000 as remuneration per month and the interview for these positions will be held at the Corporation office, on June 3 at the Corporation office. The requirements for temporary nurses comes days after the Corporation had appointed 25 doctors on temporary basis to combat Covid as the district grapples its worst.

The civic body also instructed that applicants must attend the interview along with educational certificate, caste certificate, Aadhar card with residential address.
