Coimbatore Commissioner Davidson Devasirvadam transferred to intelligence unit ADGP.


Coimbatore: Davidson Devasirdham the Coimbatore city police commissioner, has been promoted and transferred as ADGP of the intelligence unit.

Sumit Saran was the City Police Commissioner at the time of the election and a complaint was lodged with the Election Commission on behalf of various parties. Following that he was immediately transferred and Davidson Devasirdham was appointed as the City Commissioner. He has been involved in various activities since his term and has been fulfilling the demands of the people.

Officers in the IAS and IPS ranks are being transferred following the setting up of the new government yesterday. Davidson Devasirvadham, who was the Coimbatore City Commissioner, will be transferred with promotion and will take charge as the Intelligence ADGP.

Therefore, it has been informed that Amalraj from Coimbatore, who is the IG of Coimbatore West Zone, will take over the responsibilities of the additional commissioner till the new city commissioner takes office. It is to be noted that before leaving Coimbatore, Davidson tweeted thanking all who continued to support him while he was working in Coimbatore.
