Trains including Coimbatore- Chennai special trains cancelled owing to lack of passengers amidst Covid-19

Special trains, including Coimbatore-Chennai Central, will be canceled till further notice due to shortage of passengers owing to rise in Covid-19 cases.


Coimbatore: Special trains, including Coimbatore-Chennai Central will be cancelled till further notice due to shortage of passengers amidst rise in Covid-19 cases.

Due to lack of passengers commuting in trains recently, the Coimbatore-Chennai special train and a few other trains have been cancelled without further notice.

Accordingly, Coimbatore-Chennai Central special train number (06029/30), Coimbatore-KSR, Bangalore special train Uday Express (06153/54), Kochuveli-Banaswadi weekly trains (06319) have also been cancelled from yesterday.

Further, the Banaswadi-Kochuveli weekly train (06320) stands cancelled from this Friday and the Ernakulam-Banaswadi Weekly (06129) stands cancelled from May 3. Also the Banaswadi-Ernakulam Weekly (06130) is said to be cancelled from May 4 until further information.
