Coimbatore Corporation launches a new method to notify the public regarding drinking water charges

People who have drinking water supply connections use the drinking water supply card to pay their bills at the Corporation Office.

Coimbatore: Across the 60 wards of the Coimbatore Corporation before its boundary expansion, water is being distributed by the government. A measurement of the water usage is noted down in water supply cards once every month along with the charges for that particular water usage.

People who have drinking water supply connections use the drinking water supply card to pay their bills at the Corporation Office.

But due to the Covid-19 situation, corporation officials have taken a new decision to avoid the contact of the public with officials who are coming to take the readings. In the upcoming future, all details regarding the bill, the usage of water, pricing and the deadline details will be sent to the user as a text.

Users can show the text at the corporation office and can make their payment.

Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian has requested the public to use this service and to kindly cooperate with the government by paying their dues before the deadline.
