Coimbatore: Works to collect building waste in 5 corporation vehicles have been intensified in Coimbatore. There are more than 5,000 streets in 100 wards in five zones under the Coimbatore Corporation.

In many parts of the corporation, construction work is underway to renovate old buildings and construct new ones. This leads to accumulation of building waste.
