Coimbatore: Special goods train from North Coimbatore to Patel nagar, Delhi to commence operations tomorrow at 10 AM.

The Salem Railway Administration has announced that a special goods train will commence operations from the North Coimbatore Railway Station to the Delhi Patel Nagar Railway station from August 29.

Special goods trains have been operated from April 9, to support the transport of food items, medicines, face masks and other essential goods during the lockdown period. As part of this arrangement, special goods trains have been operated between Ernakulam, Kerala to Chennai, TN, via Coimbatore three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Now the Salem Railway Administration has informed that a special goods train will begin operating between North Coimbatore Railway station and Patel Nagar, Delhi.

This train will leave the North Coimbatore Railway station on every Saturday at 10 AM and travel via Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Renigunta and Nagpur and reach Patel Nagar, Delhi on Monday night. It will depart from Delhi on Wednesday at 6 AM and reach North Coimbatore on Friday evening.

This special goods train service is all set to commence from 10 AM tomorrow.
