Tamil Nadu orders TASMAC to be closed until further notice


The press release by the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited, directed to all the Senior Regional Managers and District Managers instructed them to ensure that all the Retail Vending liquor shops and Bars attached to the shops are kept closed until further instruction.

Managing Director R. Kirlosh Kumar in the press release said, "All the District Managers are directed to keep vigil and ensure that there are no illegal sales of liquor during this period and to coordinate with Prohibition Enforcement Wing Officials in the district and ensure that no untoward incidents are taking place."
