As all State borders are closed, migrant workers, working people, low level labourers are stuck in fear for food, as hotels will be closed for dine-in options. Only a few restaurants willl be available for delivery, as majority will be under complete shut down. Bringing relief to them, the TN CM Edapadi Palanisamy has announced that all Amma Unnavagam's will remain opened for the public, as usual. 

The CM has appealed to the people not to panic but be vigilant of the situation and adhere to all preventive measures proposed by the government against COVID-19. He added that food scarcity wol not arise as all neccessary arrangements have been made and additionally all Amma Unnavagam's will serve people with healthy and sumptuous food. 

However, as updated by SimpliCity, the people of Coimbatore can stay informed that essential services like groceries, milk, meat, vegetables, medical, hospitals, and all emergency services like ambulances will be available, as usual.
