Coimbatore: As the annual 'Ther' festival of the Kottai Sangameshwarar temple is to be held on February 8, 2020 from 9 AM to 1 PM, the city traffic Police have announced traffic diversions for heavy motor vehicles.

Diversions
Heavy motor vehicles from the Old Bridge on Avinashi road and vehicles from Brooebond road will have to take left at the Goodshed Road- Big Bazaar road junction, onto Trichy road. At the Classic Tower junction they should turn right onto the Valankulam Bypass road and continue, to reach Ukkadam.
Heavy motor vehicles from Trichy road on the way to Ukkadam should turn left at the Sungam junction onto the Valankulam Bypass Road to reach Ukkadam.
Heavy Motor Vehicles from Marakkadai and NH road, that take the route to Ukkadam via Townhall, will use the Five corner- Lanka Corner route. Upon reaching the Classic Tower junction they will turn right onto the Valankulam Bypass road and continue, to reach Ukkadam.
The city traffic police department have requested the public and drivers to cooperate with this temporary diversion announcement.
