Local body polls: Newly elected representatives to take charge on Jan 6

Coimbatore: The District Election Officer and District Collector K. Rajamani has informed that the newly elected Local Body representatives of the recent rural local body polls will take charge on January 6, 2020.

Coimbatore: The District Election Officer and District Collector K. Rajamani has informed that the newly elected Local Body representatives of the recent rural local body polls will take charge on January 6, 2020. 

Elected representatives for the District Panchayat Ward member, Panchayat Union Ward member, Village Panchayat President and Village Panchayat ward member from the recently conducted Local Body Elections (Rural) will take office on Jan 6, 2020 at 10.00 AM. he informed.

He further added that the event of taking charge of office of the District Panchayat Ward members will take place at the Dictrict Collectorate conference hall and for Panchayat Union Ward members, the event will take place at their respective Panchayat Union conference halls

"And, Village Panchayat President and Village Panchayat ward member and the related ward members will take office at the respective Panchayat offices", he informed.
