Tamil Nadu's 40 Industrial Training Institutes have been ranked among the best in the country by the Indian Government. In a list of top 10 Industrial Training Institutes, Tamil Nadu's institutes have grabbed the first five spots. Based on the requirement of the industries, new modern vocational courses have been introduced.
Applicants are invited for job vacancies in the Coimbatore Training Institute such as Turner, Machinist (Gr), Refrigeration & A/c, ICTSM, Instrument Mechanic, MMTM, Technician Mechatronics, Electronic Mechanic, COE for two years, and also for PPO, Welder, Digital Photographer, Pattern Maker for a duration of one year.
The applicants can apply through the www.skilltraining.tn.gov.in website and the Institute will provide free computer services for applying online.
The Government will provide the trainees with NIMI books, drawing tools, laptops, cycles, free bus identity cards, uniforms, slippers, Rs.500 as monthly scholarships, free internship training and employment in reputed industries. Male trainees from other cities will be provided with accommodation, based on hostel vacancies.
