500+ students participated with the problem statements for the hackathon based on themes of SMART COIMBATORE, HEALTHY SOCIETY, WASTE MANAGEMENT & SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT.
Coimbatore: Young Indians - Confederation of Indian Industry (Yi - CII) Coimbatore Chapter today hosted ‘The Ultimate Hackathon’ at the Agile Innovation Centre - KG Campus, Sarvanampatti.
The Ultimate Hackathon is a flagship event of the Innovation Vertical & YUVA vertical.
The Hackathon was a 12-hour On-Campus hackathon. 500+ students participated in the hackathon across 130 teams and 25 colleges in and around the district. The problem statements for the hackathon where based on themes of SMART COIMBATORE, HEALTHY SOCIETY, WASTE MANAGEMENT & SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT. The problems statements were a perfect mix majorly contributed by the office of the Commissioner of Police as well as the industry to some of the critical issues the corporation and the Coimbatore city faces at large.
