SKCET to host the prestigious 'G20 Young Ambassador Summit 2023'; TN Governor Ravi to address the summit

As the President of the G20 countries, India seeks to play a significant role by finding pragmatic global solutions for the wellbeing of all, and manifest the true spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which translates as ‘The World is One Family.


Coimbatore: SKCET will be hosting the prestigious "G20 Young Ambassador Summit 2023" on March, 20 and Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi will be the Chief Guest.

Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa of India and Dr L. Murugan, Hon’ble Minister of State in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will be the Guests of Honor.

One of India’s premier engineering colleges, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore (SKCET) will be among the select few elite educational institutions in the country to have the honour of hosting a “G-20 Summit” following India’s takeover of the G20 Presidency.

In order to find viable and diverse solutions for the whole world, India plans to phenomenally inspire and ignite the youth.

The G20 encourages youth to become future leaders to raise awareness of global issues, exchange ideas, negotiate and reach consensus.

Hence this year’s “G20 Young Ambassador Summit” will be held on the theme ‘Fuelling the Future of Global Youth’.

The Summit serves to bring together young leaders across the globe, to discuss and debate global challenges and to agree on policy recommendations they would like to see G20 leaders take forward.

This Summit would also demonstrate India’s youth-centric efforts and provide an opportunity to showcase its values and policy measures to the youth across the globe.

Tamil Nadu R.N. Ravi, will deliver the keynote address on the theme ‘Fuelling the Future of Global Youth’ and highlight the holistic approach that is required to meet the diverse needs and aspirations of young people.

Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa of India, who also authored the books ‘Branding India – An Incredible Story’, ‘Incredible India 2.0’ will deliver a special address at the occasion.

Minister of State for Information Dr L. Murugan will also deliver a special address on the theme, and illuminate the attendees.

As many as10 eminent speakers, including Dr.Nagaraj Naidu, Joint Secretary of G20, Kalpathi Suresh, Chairman, Kalpathi Investments, Ria Dabi IAS, Assista nt Collector, Alwar, Rajasthan, Dr.Anbu Rathinavel, Head and Co-Founder, School of Design Thinking and Nupur Saxena, (DIG), Joint Director, Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management will address the gathering.

More than 1800 young leaders are expected to take part in the programme.
