Coimbatore: The Department of Civil Engineering, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education in association with the Indian Geotechnical Society, Coimbatore Chapter hosted the 9th National Conference on 'Recent Advancements in Geotechnical Engineering' (NCRAG 2022) on Wednesday.
Session 1 on 'Bearing Capacity of Foundation on Rock Mass' was handled by Dr. N K Samadhiya, the President of the Indian Geotechnical Society, New Delhi who is also a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Roorkee.
Session 2 on 'Advances in Standard Penetration Test - Energy Measurement to Standardize N Values' was handled by Ravi Sundaram, Director, Cengrs Geotechnical Pvt. Ltd, Noida, NCR Delhi.
