BJP MP team to meet Kandhamal deceased’s families today

Bhubaneswar: A three-member BJP MP team, which is already in Kandhamal district now, will visit family members of the deceased, who had died in crossfire between security personnel and Maoists, at their village Gumudumaha today.

The team comprising party vice president and MP Vinay Sahasrabuddhe and national secretaries and MPs Jyoti Dhurve and Ramvichar Netam had reached the State yesterday afternoon and went to Kandhamal and spent the night there.

The team is also scheduled to hold talks with the SP and the district Collector regarding the incident.

“We will prepare a report on-the-spot visit and submit it to the national president Amit Shah in three-four days,” Sahasrabudhhe told reporters here before the team’s departure for Kandhamal.
