After a cherished lap of visiting the ancient and well-used Tibetan Buddhist temples and shrines, the colossal cloud-cradled peaks and interacting with a remarkably resilient devout people, Team XPD Beyond Asia drove toward Nagqu. They spotted a large number of pilgrims walking towards Lhasa to pay their respects at the 1400-year old Jokhang Temple.

The drive to Nagqu was uneventful for the team due to the bad roads, and with the highway from Lhasa to Beijing being a single carriageway road with loads of truck traffic and some very crazy drivers, the team found it difficult to overtake. Over this, the Yak traffic on the streets were severe for the team to drive on. The Yaks bounded onto the roads, oblivious of the heavy traffic. The terrain was still the same with the snow-capped mountains of the Trans-Himalaya.

The team reached Nagqu by 5 pm. Since there was nothing much to do in Nagqu and with almost 750 km to cover the next day, Team XPD Asia rested and chilled to gear up for Day 21.
