Starting the journey at 6.45 am from Thamel on Saturday (17th August 2019) morning and covering a distance of 130 km from Kathmandu to Dhunche took them 11 hrs. The roads were most of the times, mud and rocks. One of the team members had to get out so many times in the rain to give the drivers directions to process ahead. Though the team was warned about the bad roads before they could start their journey, nothing had prepared the team for the streets they had today, and it was nothing close of what the team had traveled earlier.

After a series of check posts, passport checks, signing ins etc. the team reached Dunche after a tiring 11 hours of journey on Saturday. The team was exhausted mentally and physically, and the stress they had today was unbelievable.
