The 65th day began with an appointment with His Excellency Mr.Sandeep Kumar at The Indian Embassy. The embassy was located in a very quiet neighbourhood of Zagreb. The Ambassador was so endearing and warm, he even told them about the activities of the Embassy in Croatia. Many Croatians have embraced Hinduism and perform rituals and poojas. They had even gone on a Rath Yathra last June.

After this, an interview with a local channel had been arranged. It was indeed a pleasant meeting with all the Embassy Staff and the Ambassador himself. They were flagged off from the India House in Zagreb, and they exited Croatia into Slovenia. Vignettes needed to be purchased here as well, even if they are were passing through.

With a bit of detour into a small town and lake called Ptuj, they crossed Slovenia into Austria in just 78 kms. The entry into Austria was seamless, and again a Vignette for a minimum of 10 days was purchased.

Soon they were affected by severe hunger pangs and they went in search of food. They ended up in a charming village called Schaffern where there was a really old inn, full of locals getting beers and playing cards. It was like going back in time! The food palate was amazing with schnitzels, baked cheese and schnapps on the side. This is definitely a pit stop the team was going to remember for a long time. They reached Vienna by 7:30pm, after which they went on a nice stroll.

This was definitely a day to remember for decades from now, and the team was surely grateful.
