Looking forward to an easy drive, the team left Samara only at 11 am. They stopped for lunch at a really nice café in one of the petrol stations. Dhannu was filthy and she needed a wash. On the highway, they only seemed to have places to wash trucks and they don't wash smaller vehicles. With great difficulty they found one finally, and as Dhannu was getting washed, they received a call from booking.com saying that they needed to reach before 6 pm, else their reservation would be cancelled. By then it was already 4.15 pm and they still had 100 kms ahead to get to Penza.

They hurriedly lest and reached exactly at 6.05, only to find a crowded parking lot. They found a passerby to call the owner and to explain that they had reached but had to wait. The owner showed up soon and informed them that she had only one room while they had booked too. Anyway, they accommodated themselves in whatever space available.

Mookambika brought out all the food and did some cooking. Priya did the washing. In a humorous vein, the team came to a conclusion that in their previous birth, Mookambika was a cook and Priya, a washerwoman.
A roof above their heads and Maggi, what a good way to end the day!
