The 37th day of the expedition was nothing short of wonderful. The team began their journey to Osh at 10:30 in the morning. Being May 1st, everyone was on the streets picnicking. The terrain felt very European. The temperature was also a comfortable 15-20 degrees centigrade.
People at Kyrgyzstan people were extremely pleasant. Everyone was social and good-natured. They reached Osh a little after 6 and checked into a hotel.
To their surprise, Love Soni, an Indian who was studying medicine at Kyrgyzstan, had followed them all the way to the hotel. He had seen their registration plate and wanted to meet them.
He told them that there were at least 3000 students from India studying medicine in the university at Osh. He then invited them to an Indian restaurant for dinner. The boy promptly turned up at 8 and drove them to the restaurant.
The experience was very overwhelming for it was after long that they had seen so many Indians at once. They also has some absolutely delicious Indian food that gave me them a taste of home.
