On day 35, the expedition continued from Torugart Pass to Bishkek.
The morning began with a little bit of chaos as Dhannu, the team's very own car, had plans of her own. The diesel had frozen and the car was not starting. Luckily, the good Samaritan came to their rescue once again and helped get the car back in action

They left by 12, as the roads were then better. In the first 80 kms, the roads were icy and there was no traffic at all. The Chinese borders were also to be shut for the next few days owing to May Day. Hence, no one was heading to the border. They then drove very carefully to the roads of Bishkek.

Kyrgyzstan, was absolutely breathtaking, beautiful. Its mountains were unbelievably picturesque. Soon the trauma of last night was forgotten as they were enraptured in the beauty of Krgyztan.
