Read the team's update for Day 32, as they cover a distance of 480 kms.
'We left at 12 noon (Beijing Time), fuelled at Akesu thinking that it will be less security, to our disbelief it was worse, as there were more police checks.

At one of the checks the policeman peeked into our car and he was amazed at the steering wheel not being where it's supposed to be.
He was very proud of his discovery and soon there were a number of them looking at Dhannu in disbelief .
He asked Abby to ask them if they would take pics with us... they nodded happily and soon every one of them wanted selfies with us, we befriended the stern Chinese cops too, Yaaaay!

Rest of the drive was uneventful, as we headed to our destination Kashgar, the last city in China.
Kashgar was swarming with cops. The look has entirely changed to mosques and people dressed differently..could have been Kyrgyzstan of Tajikistan for all you know ...
We reached at 5.15 pm (Beijing time) and tomorrow is going to be full of sightseeing, laundry, etc etc at Kashgar'.
