How I travelled Gwalior-Chandigarh-Manali-Shimla-Delhi for less than 8000 inclusive of all expenses

Yes, you read it right. I travelled for 11 days covering all these places for less than 8000 rupees. There is a myth among people, that travel is expensive. But let me tell you a secret, its not! 

Expense bill 

For Food:

The average amount spent for having a meal is 100

So for 11 days*3 meals per day=3300 but the cost only came to 2900

For Travel: 

Train fare: 

1) Coimbatore to Gwalior: 795 

2) Gwalior To Chandigarh: 305

3) Shimla to Kalka: 260

4) Kalka to New Delhi: 120

5) New Delhi to Coimbatore: 850

Bus fare: 

1) Chandigarh to Manali: 350 

2) Manali to Shimla: 395

3) Rohthang La: 500

Total: 3575

For Stay: 900 (3 nights stay)

(At hostels you are let to cook your own meal, so I saved a bit there)

Total expense for the trip: 7375 but the actual expenditure turned up is 7900.
