He scored 157 not out in the second ODI against West Indies at the YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
Kohli reached the magical milestone becoming the fifth Indian cricketer to join the elite 10,000 runs club and the 13th player to do so in the world. Other illustrious Indian batsmen in the club are Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and MS Dhoni.
