N D Hari Shankar (158 off 73 balls) and D Ashok (105* off 64 balls) enabled Jayendra post a massive 332 on the scoreboard, for the loss of two wickets in 25 overs, in the non age group for the 'Coimbatore United Round Table 186 Trophy.'
Even as the batsmen dominated, the bowlers notched up an even better performance as they bundled out Bharathi Matric Higher Secondary School for just 21 in 15 overs. P Nirmal Kumar of Jayendra scalped 5 wickets.
In yet another match, Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School scored 119 in 20.5 overs (B U Nipun 3/23 and S Arun Krishnan 3/26 ) but lost to National Model Matric Higher Secondary School who scored 120/5 in 24 overs (P Abi Nandha scored 40 for his side).
Similarly, in a match held at the Sri Sakthi College, TKS Matric Higher Secondary School with a score of 63 all out in 22.2 overs (Dhanush, Sanjai and Karthik Surya scalped three wickets each) lost to TA Ramalinga Chettiar Higher Secondary School who scored 64/9 in 23.3 overs (Naveen Sakthi 3/12 and S Chandrukanth 3/9).
