Coimbatore: A state level inter-school basketball tournament is underway in the city at Suguna PIP schools. The tournament is being organised by the Sahodaya schools complex is an association of CBSE schools to bring out the latent potential of not only students, but also the entire teaching fraternity by involving all the stakeholders of various member schools.

This three-day tournament in which more than 1000 students of around 87 schools from various parts of the state are taking part, is being conducted for both boys and girls in the age categories of Under 14, 16 and 19 years.
With today being the first day, teams from Erode, Pollachi, Udumalpet and Mettupalayam are competing in the first level of the tournament. The finals of the tournament is scheduled for Saturday.

The tournament was inaugurated by Geethalakshmi, Secretary of Sahodaya School Complex and presided over by V Lakshminarayanasamy, Chairman of Suguna Group of Institutions.
