Chasing an easy target of 98 in the finals against Park College of Arts and Science, Captain Nandha gopal led the chase from front and scored a quick 42 in 23 balls.
The quick knock from the openers helped PSG CAS to chase the target in 10 overs with 9 wickets remaining.

Through this easy win PSG CAS retained the Bharathiar university zone B cricket trophy. The third place was secured by Government arts college, here who defeated Bishop Ambrose college of arts and science by 84 runs.

Principal of Sankara college of Science and commerce along with the physical director Dr. Muniasamy presented the trophy to the winners.
The winners and runners of this tournament would play Bharathiar university Inter zonals, which is to be held later this year.
