Coimbatore: A.B. Dileep and O.P. Midhun, Fire fighters from Coimbatore Airport bagged three medals in the 13th World fire fighters games meet held at Chungju, South Korea between 8-17 of this month.
Coimbatore: A.B. Dileep and O.P. Midhun, Fire fighters from Coimbatore Airport bagged three medals in the 13th World fire fighters games meet held at Chungju, South Korea between 8-17 of this month.
A.B. Dileep clinched silver in 4*400 relay and O.P. Midhun bagged silver in water polo and bronze in arm wrestling. The duo have earned three medals for Airport Authority of India, Coimbatore.

Around 7000 fire fighters from over 60 countries participated in the fire fighters games meet. Overall, the Indian fire fighters grabbed a total of 80 medals in the competition. Out of which, the fire fighters of airport authority of India secured 5 medals.
The medal winners were felicitated by the Airport Authority of India.​
