Coimbatore: Left-arm spinner, S Krishna Kumar (6 for 26) bowled a brilliant spell as RKS ICC Kalvinilayam bundled out Kovai Tuskers for 112 to register their second victory in the TNCA-CDCA 3rd division match, held on Sunday at PSG Medical college.
Coimbatore: Left-arm spinner, S Krishna Kumar (6 for 26) bowled a brilliant spell as RKS ICC Kalvinilayam bundled out Kovai Tuskers for 112 to register their second victory in the TNCA-CDCA 3rd division match, held on Sunday at PSG Medical college.
Batting first, Kovai Tuskers were all out for 112 in 24.5 overs. R Rajkumar scored 37 for his side. Chasing the easy target, RKS lost a couple of wickets quickly but managed to chase the target in 23.4 overs, with four wickets remaining ( K Sabarinath 39, Ashwin 4/20).
In another match, Rainbow KMP CC defeated Seahawks CC by 78 runs. Winning the toss and batting first, Rainbow put a competitive 279 on board (Vipin T Gupta 106, M L Sijo 30 and V Saravanan 3/8) and beat Seahawks CC, the final score being 201/8 in 50 overs (V. Srihari 32, K Arun Kumar 37, V Saravanan 60, S Mylsamy 3/31).
