Coimbatore: Vijaya Bank won their third consecutive match in the league stage and entered into the semi finals in the men’s group ‘A’ fixture of the 54th All-India basketball tournament, for the PSG Trophy, at the PSG Tech Indoor Sports complex, here on Tuesday.

Along with Vijaya Bank from Group A', Indian Bank too secured their place in the semi-finals, while Indian Railways and Customs from Group 'B' have qualified for the semi-finals to be played on Wednesday.
In yesterday's match between Indian Bank and ICF, Indian Bank beat ICF with ease and entered into the semi finals with the coreline reading 78-55.
In group 'B,' the efforts of the teams from Income Tax and Indian Air Force were in vain. Both teams did not qualify though they won their respective matches yesterday. Earlier wins enabled Indian Railways and Customs to qualify for the semi-fnals of the 54th All-India basketball tournament, for the PSG Trophy.
