At Tiruchi, R. Gowtham’s unbeaten 128 helped Tirupur enter the quarterfinals by virtue of its first innings lead over Tiruchi.
Kanyakumari stuns Kancheepuram
At Nagercoil, T. Saran’s knock of 94 helped Kanyakumari take a 112-run first innings lead and shock Kancheepuram to enter the last eight, while A. Edwin Arasan’s five-wicket haul gave Dindigul a 26-run first innings lead against host Ramanathapuram and helped it advance to the quarterfinals.
