Coimbatore: PSG College of Arts and Science emerged as champions in Bharathiyar University B zone Inter-Collegiate football tournament held in the grounds of PSG CAS here in the city between 3rd and 5th of this month.
Coimbatore: PSG College of Arts and Science emerged as champions in Bharathiyar University B zone Inter-Collegiate football tournament held in the grounds of PSG CAS here in the city between 3rd and 5th of this month.

Around 19 college teams actively took part in the three-day football tournament hosted by PSG College of Arts and Science.
In the finals, PSG sealed off RVS College of Arts and Science with ease (6-0) and lifts up the trophy. In the well-fought match between Government Arts College and Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Government College defeated Hindustan to take the third place.

The trophy for the winners was presented by the chief guest Dr. K Vadivelu, Physical Director of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science.
As Vice-Chancellor hasn't been appointed at Bharathiyar University yet, the certificates to the winners were not presented. "The certificates will be sent to the respected institution after the appointment of Vice-Chancellor," said Dr. B Navaneethan, Physical Director, PSG College of Arts and Science.
