Coimbatore: The Camford Golden Boots Football Tournament kick was started at The Camford International School grounds on August 30. Over 30 schools from Coimbatore participated in the 3-day tournament.

In the finals of the U-19 category, SBOA lifted the trophy by beating Camford International School. In the U-14 category, The Indian Public School emerged winners by defeating Dr Dasarathan International School.

“The Player of the tournament” in the U -19 was awarded to Aswath H of The Camford International School. Adhithyan of SBOA scored the highest number of Goals, while the Best Defender of the Tournament was awarded to Aryan Bafna of The Camford International School.
Girijesh of Liseux Mariculation was selected as the best goal keeper of the tournament.
In the U -14 category, “The Player of the tournament” award was awarded to Mourgan More of The Indian Public School.

Krishna of The Indian Public School was also awarded for scoring the highest number of Goals, while the best defender of the tournament was Sudharshan of Dr Dasarathan International School. Krithik Sharon of The Camford International School was selected as the best goal keepr of the tournament.
Chairman Arul Ramesh, Correspondent Poongothai Arul Ramesh and Principal Poonam Syal congratulated the teams and gave away the trophies and certificates to the winners.
