Coimbatore: The football ground in Coimbatore Nehru Stadium is getting renovated with international standards. Since I-league is expected to start by this October, the grass laying and ground levelling works in the Nehru Stadium has been kicked off.
Coimbatore: The football ground in Coimbatore Nehru Stadium is getting renovated with international standards. Since I-league is expected to start by this October, the grass laying and ground levelling works in the Nehru Stadium has been kicked off.
Since Coimbatore Nehru Stadium is the home ground for Chennai City Football Club (CCFC), the Club management is upgrading the ground to international standards.
From last December to March, the CCFC played a total of 12 matches in Nehru stadium. In order to improve this sport in the city, the renovation was taken up by CCFC management along with Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT).
