Coimbatore: VLB college of arts and science (VLB) and Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) registered their first victory in the district level Inter college Kho Kho tournament organised by Rathinapuri Kho Kho club at MGM School in the city on Saturday.
Coimbatore: VLB college of arts and science (VLB) and Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) registered their first victory in the district level Inter college Kho Kho tournament organised by Rathinapuri Kho Kho club at MGM School in the city on Saturday.
Students from eight colleges in Coimbatore zealously took part in the tournament. In the league stages of the tournament, VLB college sealed PSG Tech 17-03 in ease, while KCT fought hard to defeat CIT by 10-9 and qualified for the next round which is to be held tomorrow.
Earlier, the two day tournament was flagged of by Subramani, Vice President of Coimbatore Kho Kho association.
A total prize worth of Rs. 25 thousand will be presented to the winners of the tournament. Semi finals and finals of the tournament will be held tomorrow at MGM School grounds.
