Coimbatore: Subramaniam Badrinath, former Indian Cricketer presented the awards for the cricketers in the annual day celebration of Coimbatore District Cricket Association (CDCA) held on Tuesday here.

Badrinath lauded the efforts of CDCA for nuturing district level players for TNCA, as well as for TNPL. He also added that CDCA's diligence over the years have helped the players big time.
He quoted that "Young players should put their heart and soul to excel in the sport".

Citing his life experiences, the former Cricketer said "I acheived this position in my life only through hard work. Every player should put their 100 percent to achieve."
K S Viswanathan, CEO of Chennai Super Kings credited A G Guruswamy, Head Coach of CDCA for producing extraordinary talents like N Jagadeesan, J Kousik, S Mohan Prasath.

"Coaches in CDCA have been really working hard to put Coimbatore in the cricketing map. After Chennai, it's Coimbatore which produces good number of cricketers", said K S Viswanathan.
"The state-of-art cricket ground which is under construction in SNR grounds will be ready by end the of this year. Going forward, we are planning to host TNPL, Ranji Trophy and other domestic matches in Coimbatore." revealed D Lakshminarayanaswamy, Head CDCA,
