Students from eight colleges that belong to the zone IX took part in the tournament hosted by KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.
In a fight between CIT and Park College of Engineering and Technology for the trophy, CIT defeated park College 2-1 in the finals and lifted the trophy.
Similarly, in the loosers finals, Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology beat Dr. NGP Institute of Technology 2-0 and secured the third place.
K Pommannaraja, principal of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology presented the certificates and the Winners Trophy to the winners of the tournament.
