More than 350 contestants from 25 districts in Tamil Nadu participated in the event and exhibited their skills. Events - athletics, volley ball, badminton. were conducted for participants between 18 to 65 years of age.
Out of the 25 districts from TN, Tirupur grabbed the overall championship. The winners of various events in the 9th Tamil Nadu Deaf Senior Sports Championship will participate in the national level events to be held in Pune later this year.
