Coimbatore: Around 63 teams from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra participated in the Bharath Formula Karting Championship (BFKCT) held at Kari Motor Speedway.
Coimbatore: Around 63 teams from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra participated in the Bharath Formula Karting Championship (BFKCT) held at Kari Motor Speedway.

In a bid to allow engineering students to explore deisgn, analyse, document theoretical and technical skill of kart making, Cadd Technologies Coimbatore organised this three-day event.

The competition was conducted in various stages -Design validation stage which is also known as Virtual Round. Secondly, the Champion Round consists of Static, Dynamic and Endurance Test.

During the competition, the participating teams had been allowed to exhibit their innovative thinking. The winners will receive a international participation certificate along with palcemebt assistance.
BFKCT had announced Rs.15,00,000 (Fifteen Lakhs) worth Prize which includes Rs.7,50,000 (Seven Lakhs Fifty Thousand) cash prize.

All participants were given a voucher worth of Rs.2000 which can be utilized for enhancing their technical skill. Placement assessment for about 350 final year students was also conducted as part of the event.​
