Coimbatore: Coimbatore City Police Commissioner K Periaiah felicitated V Pooja, who bagged four medals in 44th Tamil Nadu state level Rifle Shooting championship held between July 23-29 in Madurai.
Organised by Madurai Rifle Club, in the 44th Tamil Nadu state level Rifle Shooting championship, Pooja, a second year student of Isha College of Engineering and Technology secured two gold, one silver and one bronze medals.
Pooja is a student of Coimbatore rifle club participated in the 10 metre air pistol and 25 metre sports pistol shooting, under junior women's category and secured one gold in 10 metre air pistol and one gold, one silver and one bronze in 25 metre sports pistol shooting.
Following her achievement, Coimbatore City Police Commissioner K Periaiah felicitated Pooja for her outstanding achievement.
