Eight women colleges from across the State are participating in the tournament. Under the ‘A’ pool, there is MOP Vaishnav College, Chennai, Ethiraj College, Chennai, Madurai Lady Doak college, and PSG Krishnammal college. In ‘B’ pool, there is Women’s team from Hindustan University, Chennai, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, Women’s Christian College, Chennai, and Pavai Engineering College, Namakkal.
In the inaugural matches held yesterday, PSG Krishnammal College won against Madurai Lady Doak College scoring 81 points. In the second match, Women’s team from Hindustan University, Chennai won against Pavai Engineering College, Namakkal scoring 66 points and in the third match, MOP Vaishnav College, Chennai won against Ethiraj College, Chennai scoring 83 points.
