Coimbatore : More than 10 students of 'Silambalaya', a Silambam training institute in Coimbatore participated in the 2nd South Asian Silambam Championship and won a total of 30 medals.
Coimbatore : More than 10 students of 'Silambalaya', a Silambam training institute in Coimbatore participated in the 2nd South Asian Silambam Championship and won a total of 30 medals.

The 2nd South Asian Silambam Championship was held in Kanyakumari between July 13 and 15. More than 450 participants from various countries including India, Srilanka, Nepal and Bangladesh participated and exhibited their silambam skills.

Out of which, 10 students from Coimbatore along with two participants from Karnataka who were also trained at Silambalaya, here have won 18 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 3 bronze, accounting to a total of 30 medals.
