The Suburban school boys won the trophy of the Basketball Tournament for under 17 boys and girls, organised recently by the Coimbatore Round Table No:9 and Texcity Sports Club in memory of Tr. Sugumaran at V.O.C park Corporation Basketball grounds.
The 1st runner up was PSG Sarvajana and the 2nd runner-up was Mallayan school.
Alvenia School team won the Trophy for the girls category.
The boys trophy was distributed by the Round Table No:9 Chariman, Mr C R Anandakrishnan. For the girls team, the trophy was distributed by Gayathri Anandakrishnan, Chairperson of the Ladies Circle No:1.
The chief guest for the tournament was PS Ashvin Kumar, Vice Chairman, Area 7-Round Table India, and the Guest of Honourr G R Govindarajan from Round Table India.
