Briefing the media in the city after inaugurating the badminton tournament at Visions Sports Academy the ace Shuttler attributed her phenomenal success in the racquet game to constant match practice and competing with global players of different Nationalities who are endowed with different playing techniques.
“The big match experience is vital to score victories at crucial matches and competing at a higher level “P. V. Sindhu said.

“It is glad news that in a cricket crazy nation like ours, badminton has come of age, and the sport is being played my many young ones now, and it has huge following among the population too. I am happy that my Olympic Silver has inspired many young ones to take up the racquet game of badminton. “P. V. Sindhu noted.
While noting that a city like Coimbatore has the potential to create National and International champions in badminton she said that young talents keep surfacing from all parts of the country which is a heartening thing P.V. Sindhu said and added that every citizen should contribute their mite to the cause of achieving Clean India, through Swacch Bharat Mission.
