The Zonal Cricket Championship organised by Anna University for engineering colleges wa hosted at Sri Krishna Engineering and Technology College (SKCET), the students of the host college SKCET won the overall Championship.
Out of the 30 teams participated, teams from SKCET, Eshwar Engineering College, Hindustan Engineering College and JCT Engineering College entered the semi-finals. The finals was played between Hindusthan College and SKCET. Both the teams fought tough to grab the championship but at last team SKCET emerged as champions.
The championship trophy was awarded to the SKCET team by Dr. K. S. Jeen Marseline, Principal of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College.
